NOTE From Principal Uskert

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome. It is great to be back at SC and to rejoin this wonderful community. The school year has started off in a very positive way, and the kids are already busy in the classroom working hard. We would like to welcome Mireille Jarrous, School Counselor; Julia Fieldler-Ross, Resource Specialist; Jacob Wolter, Junior High Social Studies; Stephanie Luo, Kindergarten Gold Aide; Julia O'Keeffe, Kindergarten Blue Aide; Bianca Coleman, 6th Grade Aide; and Maureen Horan, Alumni Director.

A reminder that this year, all volunteers will need to complete both the Virtus online training and LiveScan fingerprinting. This pertains to anyone volunteering in school or chaperoning field trips. Forms for both can be found on the SC website.

Speaking of volunteers, can you work once a week (or more) from 11:55 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.? We are in need of lunch duty personnel. If you are interested in supervising the students during lunch yard duty please let me know.

Thank you to the Mothers' Club for hosting the Kindergarten and TK playdates last weekend. What a wonderful chance for the students to get to know each other before coming into the classroom. And another big thank you to Liam Reidy and John McCaffrey for organizing the MOSC clean up day last weekend. We appreciate the help in getting the school ready for the year!

I'm looking forward to a fantastic year!

Mr. Chris Uskert
