||NOTE From Mr. Uskert
I hope that everyone was able to enjoy the long weekend, a nice Niners victory made it even that much sweeter! The teachers had a very productive workday on Friday. We were able to have some serious discussions about school goals and reflect on the many aspects of what is happening on a daily basis. Thank you again to those who filled out the WASC survey earlier last month as we used that (along with a survey completed by the 4th-8th graders) to help guide our conversations. As we continue to move through the accreditation process, we will share our findings with the greater community.
As another week begins, please remember to check that your child is in full uniform, hair is neat, and everyone is following the rules in the Parent-Student Handbook. As I mentioned last week, we have begun to see quite a few uniform violations and we are hoping to reign that in with your help. Have a wonderful week!
Mr. Chris Uskert

SCMC and the school will be hosting Grandparentsí/Very Important Person Day on Monday, January 27th from 10:30am - 12:30pm. BOX TOP Collection begins: DEADLINE FEBRUARY 21,2020!
Itís that time to send in all your BOX TOP clippings. The Class with the most BOX TOPS earned will receive a sweet treat and free dress that will be coordinated with their teacher.
However, this will be the last collection of physical, clipped Box Tops. Box Top is going electronic. What this means is that everyone must download the BOX Top Mobile App, which can be located at www.BTFE.COM. Once on the website, it will prompt you how to download the Mobile App and connect to our school (St. Ceciliaís). You may have already run across the ďplease scan box top markersĒ at the grocery store. If you already have the app, please keep scanning your receipts. If you havenít downloaded the app, please do so. Box Top feels this will be an easier and faster way to capture the earning for our schools and not having to worry about expired or miss counted clippings. Plus, you will receive all the updates on products and contests to earn for our school. You will also be able to see the earnings our school received for the year. BOX TOP wanted better transparency of the Program and what it does for our school.
So, Parents, please download the BOX TOP Mobile App and start scanning those receipts. Thank you all for your wonderful participation. Itís very much appreciated. If anyone has questions or concerns please feel free to email Bianca at firstname.lastname@example.org
Bianca Coleman (Leila 5th & Charlie K-Gold).
