Back to School Night: Tonight

We are looking forward to welcoming TK – Grade 6 PARENTS tonight at 7:00 p.m. Let’s meet in the Church for Back To School Night 2018!

Confirmation Program

There will be an informational PARENT meeting for our Parish Confirmation Program on Wednesday, September 19th at 7:30 p.m. in the Lower Church. All 7th grade and older students from the Children's Faith Formation Program and the School are invited. For more information please contact Lorna Feria at

Sunday, September 23rd is the First Confirmandi Meeting for St. Cecilia School and Parish. The meeting begins following the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Please gather in the School Auditorium, on the lower level. Parents are invited to join at the close of the meeting. Parents may arrive at 12:15.

Saint Cecilia's Chinese Club

SAINT CECILIA’S CHINESE CLUB will have its first General Meeting at the Collin Center (2560 18th Ave) on Friday, September 14th at 7:00 p.m. All (including children) are welcomed. The club will provide dinner, drinks, and dessert.

Item Drop-Off Schedules

Starting with this school year, uniform exchange will have designated drop off days during the week of November 6th, at the January meeting of the Mother's Club, and during the last week of school.

Please do not drop off uniforms at the front office outside of those drop off days. They will not be accepted.

When the time comes to bring them in, please make sure they are washed and in good condition.

First Mothers Club Meeting – Come One, Come All!

Join us for our first Mothers Club meeting as we get ready to kick off another amazing school year!

Join us for a fun night re-connecting with friends and meeting new ones! We'll welcome our incoming SC moms, learn more about the upcoming school year including what's new, and share with you how you can get involved in our community because “We’re Better Together!


- Dinner and drinks will be served.
- The class with the most moms in attendance will get a free dress pass!

Please consider helping your Mothers Club by bringing 2 bottles of wine as suggested below. This donation will help offset the cost of the meetings as well as help our parish festival.

Young Families Group Playdate at Parkside Park

The Young Families Group is planning a play date at Parkside Square and 28th Avenue on Sunday, September 23rd. The play day will begin after the 9:30 a.m. Family Mass (approximately 10:45 a.m.). There will be donuts, bagels, juice, waters and coffee. Come play and enjoy the fun and games and activities.

OCTOBER 12-14!

The annual Parish Festival will take place October 12, 13, and 14th. Please mark your calendars and join us for three fun filled days at the SC State Fair! Don't forget to fill out your raffle tickets, parish pasta dinner, and sponsorship forms that you received in the mail.

Stuffed Animal Collection: September 10 - September 17

Donate your clean stuffed animals to the 2018 Saint Cecilia Parish Festival! New and used clean stuffed animals are welcome. Donations will be professionally cleaned. The collection starts Monday, September 10 thru Monday, September 17.
Please leave your donations on the bench by the school office.

Books, DVDs, and Video Games

Ready to clear out your used books, DVD and video games? Bring your E rated items (E for everyone only) to the SC Festival book booth by dropping them at St. Cecilia School during regular business hours.
Please place donations on the bench outside the office.

Schoolyard MOVIE Night: Saturday, September 29

We will host a Movie Night on Saturday, September 29, featuring Charlotte's Web. The movie will begin at sunset and concession stands will be open for snacks and beverages. Festival t-shirts and blankets will also be sold. Purchase tickets at the gate: $5 for kids and $10 for adults.
