Only 10 more days until the festival! The festival is coming quickly – September 29, 30, and October 1. The rides will be back in the school yard; Snack Bar and Bingo will be in the Pavilion; Adult Games in the Green Room; Wheel Games, Stuffed Animals, and the Pan Game in the auditorium, and the Children’s Games will be in the Lower Church. Check out the raffles, sign up to volunteer, RSVP to the Parish Spaghetti Dinner, learn about the Silent Auction and how to be a sponsor of the festival. This will be a wonderful weekend!

Everyone loves dessert! We ask that each family donates three items, home baked or purchased (but please no items that require refrigeration), or consider a $10 donation. Popular items include brownies, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, muffins, and Rice Krispy treats. Help to fill our top shelf and blackout items by donating whole cakes or pies.

Chocolate and Candy!
Starting Friday, September 8 until Friday the 29th
It's time again to start collecting donations for the Chocolate & Candy Booth for this year’s festival! We will be having a contest for the class who donates the most Chocolate & Candy! The winning class will receive a Wonderful Ice Cream Social with all the trimmings.
Here's how the contest will work:
• Every class will be given a bag with their Grade and Room Number.
• Bags will be collected each week and replaced with new ones
• The Chocolate and Candy will be collected, weighed, and tracked each week.
The class with the most pounds donated will win the Ice Cream Social!

4th Grade Family Math Night - SAVE THE DATE

Lunch Volunteers Needed
We need 4 volunteers each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to assist students in picking up their meals. There is NO COOKING NOR FOOD PREP! Volunteers are needed from
10:45 a.m. - 12 noon and 11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. We encourage all families to volunteer at least once per quarter.

SCRIP is a great way to contribute to the festival!
A great way to add to your silent auction class basket or donate cards straight to the auction. Last year great hits were BUILD-A-BEAR, American Girl, and Pottery Barn. The possibilities are endless! Donate SCRIP to the Silent Auction this week!
Our Process is Simple:
1. Order forms come home by Tuesday. To download a SCRIP order form click here.
2. Return your order with cash or check payable to St. Cecilia Scrip by Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
3. All orders are filled Thursday afternoon with your oldest child or held in the office for pick up.
4. If your SCRIP is not available we will contact you directly to choose something on hand or a date it will be available.

Fall Box Tops Contest Through October 6
Start sending in those Box Tops! Once again, St. Cecilia School will be participating in the Box Tops for Education program. Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to support our school. Box Tops are each worth 10¢, and they quickly add up to real cash! Last school year, our school earned over $1,200, a figure we can easily surpass with everyone's participation. Just look for pink Box Tops on products, clip them, and send them in to your child's teacher. Our first deadline is October 6.
The class submitting the most Box Tops will win a free dress pass and a sweet treat party!
