School News

Applause for "INTO THE WOODS"

Congratulations to Katy Porter, our Drama Director, Sarah Boone, our Assistant Drama Director, and to all the students who performed in, or worked backstage, in our spring musical Into the Woods. What a wonderful production! We are so fortunate to have so many talented students.

Thank you to the parents and friends who assisted with rehearsals, created costumes, built sets, applied make up, and managed the house, during the shows. The show could not go on without you!

Sacramental Celebrations

The Sacrament of First Eucharist will be celebrated this Saturday, April 21st at 10:30 a.m. with 81 children from the school and parish.

On Saturday, May 5th at 10:30 a.m. the parish will present 70 candidates to Bishop William Justice for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Faculty Updates

Mrs. Eileen Donohoe, Sister Margaret Kinzie, and Mrs. Betty McCunniff will be retiring at the end of this school year. We wish them all happiness and good health in their retirement.

Mrs. Donohoe has been teaching our Kindergarten Gold class for 25 years.
Sister Margaret Kinzie taught 2nd grade for 36 years and is currently our learning support specialist for Grades K-3.
Mrs. McCunniff has been our learning specialist for Grades K-3.

Mrs. Megan Rabbitt, learning specialist for Grades 4-8, will also be leaving us at the end of this school year to spend more time with her family.

Job Opportunity

Our Extended Care Department is looking for a few good workers who can commit to working Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. This job would begin once the application is completed and continue until the last day of school June 1st.

SCRIP Order Sheets will come home every other week, but you can always print an order form from the school website. We will fill orders every week!

Our Process is Simple:
1. Order forms come home by Tuesday or by CLICKING HERE.
2. Return your order with cash or check payable to St. Cecilia SCRIP by Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
3. All orders are filled Thursday afternoon with your oldest child or held in the office for pick up.
4. If your SCRIP is not available we will contact you directly to choose something on hand or a date it will be available.
