St. Ignatius College Preparatory welcomes award-winning author Po Bronson on March 8th, at 7:00 P.M., in the McCullough Gym. He will be speaking about his book NurtureShock, and he will be signing books. The central premise of Mr. Bronson’s book is that many of modern society’s strategies for nurturing children are backfiring. NurtureShock uses science to show how our skills and our character are formed; some of the topics covered include race, siblings, lying, and how to appropriately praise our children.

You may purchase the book and a ticket to the event for $30. Additional tickets are $7. Please contact Carole Nickolai at cnickolai@siprep.org or 415-731-7500 Ext. 235 if you are interested in attending the event.
