The Mothers’ Club was established to encourage supportive and social relationships among mothers of St. Cecilia School students, to provide volunteers for many of the school’s programs, and to raise funds to enhance the educational programs.
Over the years, Mothers’ Club fund raising has enabled the school to purchase new textbook series: science, social studies, math, religion, English, reading (K-5), literature (6-8), and family life. Funds were also used to further the technology program.
Mothers coordinate the hot lunch program, library services, cultural presentations for the school, the uniform exchange, the Christmas Boutique, room mothers, the Birthday Book Club, health screenings, drive-through volunteers, and a Sunshine Committee which supports families in times of need. The Mothers’ Club also organizes current families to welcome and host new families to the school.
